I thought this film was great fun. Ok. I am a bit of a Christina fan, but even without that it's worth the entrance fee. It's not deep or meaningful or groundbreaking, but it's not pretentious or pompous either. It's a feel good musical with good looking people doing quality song and dance routines in their underwear. There are a few problems on the way but the heroine wins through in the end.

What more do you want?

I only went to see this beacuse i LOVE Cher! Lol but i do agree with some things in the review. it did remind me of coyote ugly in quite a few ways & there was only one dance remotley close to burlesque. However, i did think it was rather good. If you ignore the similarities to other films & the sometimes bad song lyrics/songs & take into acount the dances (even tho the are not actually burlesque), the comedy and the vocals... It's actually worth seeing.
