I totally disagree with the previous reviews, I am neither local nor what you would call a regular ( I eat there about once a month when I am down in Bournemouth for work) the service is always excellent and the food & atmosphere is great.

The owner is always friendly and even remembers what I have to eat!.

I work in the catering industry and am very picky about where I give my repeat business to the service & food have to be spot on and its the only place I Breakfast when in Bournemouth so I guess that shows why I gave it 5 stars

Chap in there is always so miserable. If you are not a "regular" then you seem to get the basic service with no smile or attention yet openly chats to others. What a shame this guy doesn't realise that if he was more polite to people he might just turn them into regulars. Personally I won't be going back. The bay tree is much friendlier!!

Came here to cure my hangover last weekend and was hugely disappointed. Was greeted by looks of "your not local" and the full english was just average and not as big as I expected.
