Crown Inn

We are fortunate to have this lovely pub in our village. We can take friends and family there with confidence. We particularly love the Fish Friday's with a good selection of fish dishes, a dessert and a glass of wine all for £15. We have also enjoyed the light lunch menu. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic atmosphere over the Royal Wedding event! Staff went to a lot of trouble to make it fun for all the guests including dressing up in good old fashioned boaters for the garden party which had a bit of fun added with 'guess number of sweets in a jar' and apple bobbing - even a cake stall. All proceeds from this went to local children's hospice. Nice touch - plastes of biscuits on each table to welcome you while you waiting for your cream tea! In the evening the whole place was packed out including the garden which had a really good band playing and got everyone dancing. Just as important - our three course meals were absolutely fantastic and really good value for money. So all in all, 5 out of 5 star rating is absolutely well deserved. We will definitely be going back soon as one of the best times was had by us all! Well done The Crown, most impressed.
