Grove Tavern

We really love Grove Tavern when we go to Bournemouth. Such a friendly warm place. It really makes our holiday. The staff are great and there is always fantastic entertainment. Live bands etc. Also you always get a decent pint! Never boring here and we just can't wait to go back!

The has to be the best bar around Southbourne . Really friendly staff who go out their way to look after you . Fantastic choice of beer and wine and cider . When i was there they were packed and had live music on but and after the act finished the bar played some great tunes and at the end of the night the whole bar was singing . Can think of a better bar . We started our evening in Ludos Lounge . Err would not recommend it .

Liked:

-Selection of Beers and Ciders on offer (mmm Rekorderlig).

-Close to Ludo Lounge ( a much better alternative).

-Sky Sports. Yey!

Disliked:

- Terrible Customer Service from Scouse Supervisor vicky! Other staff seemed fine, but she was very rude!

- Poor atmosphere during the day

-Kinda Grotty

- Live music (better off bringing your iPod).

Will I return? NO!

However, if your in the area I highly recommend Ludo Lounge! Good atmosphere, nice terrace, decor and furniture up to date etc...

Popped in to The Grove while on Holiday over the Christmas Period. What a fantastic place. Staff very Friendly , and the service excellent. The place is kept spotless evan though every day I was there they were busy.

Good people drink here and add to the friendly atmosphere .

Will defiantly come back.
