I couldn't get the review to award no stars, so I had to settle for only one.
Service: atrocious. We ordered two bottles of wine at £30 each as well as four meals. The glasses on our table were covered in greasy fingerprints. When we asked for clean ones we were treated quite rudely and the old ones were not even taken away. The staff avoided us after this.
Food: mediocre at best, despite some guff in the menu about being passionate about it. No better than the average wine bar.
Venue: Potentially good location. But needs far, far better attention to detail and service attitude. I wasn't even sure it was very clean. I don't mind a degree of shabbiness but this wasn't nice.

The mussels here are absolutely FAB.

Lovely little deli downstairs too.
Blankets on the chairs outside for the cold evenings when you want to sit and smoke.
I love this place and it's going to be a regular haunt for me this Summer.
Well done to the owner who had the foresight to invest in this restaurant with the new development of the pier area. Brilliant guy and what an amazing place.
