The surroundings are nice. The lasagna was awful. Chewy and dehydrated in the microwave. The burger though as good. The staffing situation seems to have changed. Doesn't seem to be waitress service anymore. had to go to bar to order food and pay before we'd eaten. Manager chap seemed stressed and conversations about him selling the place could be overheard.

Stopped here for a cooked breakfast. Staff indifferent - "can you get them" said one waitress rudely to another clearly within our hearing. Only one other customer in the joint. Once ordered the toast came out 5 minutes before the food rather than with it. The food wasn't inspiring (not sure why anyone serves fried bread in the South of England these days) and lukewarm. The potatoes were shrivelled which is particularly rubbish if you're the veggie half of the couple as it's the bit you look forward to. No one checked up on us and we had to go and look for condiments and the for our bill. And not cheap either. Service elsewhere in Bournemouth was fantastic particularly from the hardworking Eastern Europeans. I think they can teach us a thing or two about customer service and not taking passing trade for granted.

Chic bistro & bar set in lovely garden surroundings. A terrace overlooks the gardens & inside is also very nice. Food is excellent & there is more choice of quality vegetarian options than most. Friendly staff & great value make this a top choice for casual dining or just relaxing. Superb.

Took the mrs here for a fancy meal and she loved it, bit posh for my liking!
