A group of 6 of us went to eat at Indi’s last weekend.
We were given our menu, served drinks and popadoms very quickly then it took ages for the staff to take our orders for a main course. The waiter really wasn’t very good, we asked him what he would recommend, to which he replied he couldn’t but his colleague would be able to, then promptly disappeared. We then had to wait so long for our food we actually had to ask a waiter when it would be coming; he disappeared and never returned to answer our question. By the time our food arrived we had been sat at our table for one and a half hours. No plate warmers were put in the centre of the table then it was very slow to come out. I was served my main course first in the group then my rice last, once I had reminded one of the waiters, so by the time I had all my food it wasn’t very hot.
The food was lovely, but let down by the poor service. After the meal we asked for our bill quickly as we had to leave due to the length of time it had taken to be served. However we had to remind the waiters again to prepare the bill. They offered us a drink which I am assuming was to make up for the poor service although they never actually apologized; we declined as we were in a hurry. When the bill came it was incorrect, and they had the nerve to add service charge onto the bill, which of we course we didn’t pay.
The final straw was when they went to retrieve our coats it took them three attempts to bring them all out after each time not bringing enough and us having to ask them to look for more, very frustrating when you are in a hurry.
Overall, great food let down by appalling service.

Absolutely appalling customer service! I booked table for 2 for time between 9 -9.30 P.M.
When we arrived at restaurant they asked us to wait saying they haven't reserved table but it may be available around 9.30.
It was very embarrassing for me as it was a special occasion for us. We decided not to wait there.
Not sure about food...Only guess if they don’t have good customer service who knows what the kitchen is like!

I have been to Indis in Westbourne many times, a contemporary indian. i absolutely love their food. the restaurant looks great with fresh and modern decor.
They have an express lunch menu available daily from 12pm-5pm. The service is really fast so you can get a great meal in your lunch hour. They also do outside catering. So if you fancy getting them in to sort out the food for a private party they can even do that. They have a private function room downstairs which looks fab.
The staff are really friendly and provide a good service.
It fits with Westbourne's 'upscale' image and the staff are helpful and provide good service. The food is excellent, quite reasonably priced, but that's no real surprise given the location. Overall a great place. Beyond ecxpectations.
