Booked a table for 8 pm on Saturday evening. Arrived on time and were seated straight away but it then took quite a while before anybody came to offer us a menu. This was a sign of the whole evening to come. There were interminable delays between being provided with a menu, the order being taken, drinks being provided, the starter being provided and the main couse being served. The main course eventually arrived at 9.45 only to find that the 'roast potatoes' were in fact boiled, and one of the steaks which was supposed to be 'medium' was actually raw, cold and inedible. A replacement was offered but given how late is was by then (and how long it was likely to take to receive the replacement given their obvious level of ineptitude) it was declined. Therefore one guest went hungry, the atmosphere of the whole evening was ruined, and all that the restaurant would offer was to waive the price of some of the drinks.

We asked whether the service problems were caused by staff shortages but they said no. Clearly then it was all just due to sheer incompetence and so is likely to be a regular occurence at this restaurant. We shall not be going there again and to avoid disappointment I would suggest that everybody else should avoid it as well.
