The Consortium Store expanded in 2001 and opened a bar and night-club, offering a place to hang out for the owners, theor friends and like minded people.
It is now open every day at 8pm and with a 4am licence. They have regular entertainment and host special events from art exhibitions to skate, snow and surf movie premiers. Manna is their showcase night held every Friday with all the pioneering names in Hip Hop, Breaks and beyond.
Regular guests include The Bays, Evil Nine, James Lavelle (UNKLE), Plump DJs, DJ Yoda, Scratch Perverts and Stanton Warriors. The Consortium works with many artists from labels like Finger Lickin', Grand Central, Marine Parade, Ninja Tunes, Tru Thoughts and Zebra Traffic. They also host the regional heat for the annual DMC championship.
