We walked in off the street for lunch knowing nothing about this restaurant, and were very glad we had! My friend had an excellent carbonara, I had an amazing charcuterie plate. I'd ordered a mixed salad thinking I might need a top-up but was delighted to find that the generous portions meant that I couldn't finish it! Service was attentive and helpful, and the option for light lunches means that the price was excellent, though of course we could have spent more if we had wanted to. I shall definitely be going back!
I eat out often, I am often disappointed, but in Bella Rosa I have found a gem! If you are looking for good food or somewhere to unwind look no further! I went to secure a business deal, my clients came down from London, it is tough to know where to take people from out of town, I have, over the years, tried any number of restaurants and bars, at last I have found the ideal place!
Please don't change a thing!

I went to Bella Rosa with my family and friends last Saturday evening. All in all we were a group of seven. We had a wonderful evening from start to finish. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the food, wine and beer were excellent. The staff were very attentive and they looked after us throughout the evening. The Chef paid us a personal visit to ensure that the food was up to standard; and as I said earlier, it most definitely was. I would recommend the Bella Rosa to any of my friends, business associates or anyone that would like to enjoy a relaxing night with great food in a lovely environment.

Bella Rosa has gone down hill! I used to be a regular @ Bell Rosa but have not been for a while due to relocation. On our recent visit (saturday) it was over run by loud, drunk kids. We had to get our own drinks from the bar (like a pub), our food was terrible (new British chef!) Bell Rosa now has bouncers. Soon we found out why! A massive fight erupted! My advice- stay well away! Especially if you have children with you!
I recently went to Bella Rosa in Canford Cliffs to discuss business with a potential client. I had been told by the new owner that it was an excellent place to hold meetings and my client was impressed to be asked to Canford Cliffs. We met late morning, enjoyed excellent Italian coffee and after a successful meeting I asked for the lunch menu. I was very surprised to find most items were only £6.95 - I expected food to cost much more in this area! The chef is Italian and he made very visually pleasing plates of food for us – My client has a rustic pizza which looks nothing like the stogey pizzas I have been buying in the supermarkets – thin, covered in a great topping and well worth trying. I had the chicken club sandwich – so big it was skewered together! It came with salad and chips as well.
I didn’t know much about Italian wine before. I was recommended to the Fiano which was light and well priced and I noticed there was a large range of champagnes on offer too. I guess Champagne is what Canford cliffs is all about!
I will go back for dinner soon. I was warned to book however as this fine little restaurant gets very busy and having seen the specials they do I can see why!

As locals we freqently pop into Bella Rosa for a couple of early evening drinks. Its a nice place to go and sit and watch the world go by, especially sat outside on the terrace on a warm summers evening. The decor is high class and comfortable and the staff are always really friendly and attentive.
Many a time we have sat and watched in envy, as numerous dishes emerge from the kitchen that look and smell delicious. So a few weeks ago I spotted something on their specials board that took my fancy; Home made Italian fish soup. I had to try it and I am so pleased I did. It was to die for and has to be the best fish soup I have ever had. Packed with mussels, clams, king prawns and sea bass with a delicious tomato/fish broth, it is a clear winner! So much so, I have been back and had it five times since! I just hope they don't take it off the menu.
From what I hear, I think the soup is a reflection of the food in general. I know the pizzas are very good, nice and thin.
All in all, it is worth a visit if you are looking for a top of the range Italian experience.

We have now had 3 marvellous meals at this delightful Restaurant ideally situated in Canford Cliffs with it's very friendly and welcoming ambience. One of the visits was to celebrate a significant Birthday and I shall remember it for many years to come.
Treat yourself and enjoy Dining at Bella Rosa - we have done so and thoroughly recommend it!

Over the past 2 years I have been to Bella Rosa, every couple of months. My family also love the place, the food, service and feel of the restaurant is like no other in the Uk. But on my last visit during June I would not go back there. Different owners, horrible food, bad service and what seemed like a very drunk waiter! Never again!
This restaurant is beautiful and the ambiance is great. Sadly the waiter didn't know what anything meant on the menu and said he couldn't understand the chefs writing.
I asked for a seafood salad and had rockets leaves drenched in oil and a little vinaigrette. The seafood was in fact bought in pickled seafood- pieces of octopus etc. Sadly I couldn't eat it all, it was to my liking, just wish it mentioned they were pickled on the menu. My friend had veal with 4 leaves of rocket salad. She also had a bowl of chips (about 8 big chips only), which were extra.
Trying to be as factual as possible. The drinks were fine
Had a super meal at this restaurant on Saturday night. It was the first weekend for the new owners and they couldn't have been more attentive. It was full and had a great atmosphere, food was excellent as was the service. Will definitely eat in there again
As locals we had a brilliant meal when this restaurant first opened and were raving about it to our friends - what a mistake!!!!...... We took a group of 10 friends there this year (ie in the summer of 2009 (do they put their prices up then and downgrade the service during the summer months???) Awful - ie very poor meals all round, which were totally over-priced - eg a tiny portion of overcooked (and what looked like a microwaved) lasagna at around £14 - no salad served with it (that cost extra)..... What a complete let down.......
The whole meal was completely embarassing for us (as we had recommended the place to our friends).... and we won't be going back!We definitely wouldn't eat there again - and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!! We'd have been better off having an honestly microwaved "pub grub" at the local (The Nightjar) - meals cost far less and were just as good as the very poor quality ones that we experienced at Bella Rose in the summer.... and the drinks are miles cheaper too!!!!
