I used to be a very regular in 2010. Food used to be great However, my last two visits in 2011 were very poor.
First of all, the Food looks, taste different each visit, the portion is different each visit. Secondly, the soft drinks taste like water, no gas in them, I had coca cola and it was terrible so I asked the waiter to do something about it, her reply was "other customers aren't complaining like you are" That put me off and made me ask her to take it off my bill as I am not drinking or paying for something I am not happy with, she said "I am sorry you will have to pay for it" so I paid and walked out unsatisfied and have no attention to go to Funkisushi again.
Booked a table for 7.30 there yesterday for myself and 6 friends. The place was almost empty when we arrived, but was told that it was going to take some time to prepare sushi for all of us. Waited 1h 30min for the food, still nothing however other tables around us (that arrived after us was served their sushi). Asked the waiter again and was told that the "chef" could not tell us how much longer it would take. Waited another 15 Min's still no food, so ended up having to leave and go eat somewhere else. I'm never going back there!
