would never go here again, a friend treated me to dinner for my birthday & so i didn't like to complain while i was there. i have never, ever seen a restaurant in such a mess in all my life!! the salad bar area was disgusting, food all over the floor, filthy food tongs, ropey old salad slopped all over every surface. the carpet around the seating area was filthy, covered in food debris everywhere. our waiter, brian, was terrible, didn't smile, was obviously stressed & did not return to our table at all during the whole time we were sat down! needless to say he didn't get a tip. i can honestly say that this was my worst ever experience at dining out, and i'm NOT being picky. i'm phoning the manager today to complain.

Went for lunch this week at the Harvester In Castle Lane Bournemouth with a friend, what a disappointment, we thought we try the early bird, we both ordered Cajun chicken, with chips and corn, we waited and both tuck into the salad bar, which I can recommend, that was lush, the chicken came, my knife bounced of the chicken, it was dry dark and tasted terrible, we did send it back and got a replacement, which was lighter in colour but still dry, I think they do not know how to cook chicken, what made it worse was to see 3 customers all leave their chicken, one poor old lady, just ate her potatoes, why didn't the waitress pick this up. It will be a long time before every going back there and would not recommend this to anyone.

Me and my friends love coming here when we're eating out on a budget! It's cheap and cheerful! And the salad carts great.
