Went with a group of girls for a birthday and had an amazing time! Staff were friendly and sorted us out on the guest list so we didnt have to queue. There were loads of rooms including one which just played 70's and 80's but that got pretty packed so we spent most of the night in the r and b room. Was a bit pricey but worth it.

I visited lava ignite a few weeks back on a Friday. When we arrived the place was empty! There was just us and one hen party. The start of the night was abysmal as only disco was open, which is a tacky 90's disco room, and it took a good half an hour for the lava/ignite room to open up. In all fairness the lava ignite room could be good if there were the customers! Again it was just us and one other group...not exactly the evening we had imagined. We stayed for a good hour to drink some cocktails, which were good. But without any atmosphere we had to leave. Lets just say the entire time we were there the dance floor was empty. To be honest I doubt I will ever go back, it's not worth it when Bournemouth has so many better clubs out there. Just so you know, the only reason I gave it a two was because the cocktails were ok and the lava ignite room COULD be good if anybody actually went.

Great club, loads of different rooms so plenty for everyone. Staff polite and customers up for a laugh! Was down for the weekend and went both nights, seems to be the place everyone ends up. The Disco & RnB rooms do get pretty packed though...

Lava is one of the best clubs in Bournemouth. It has constant buzz that is combined with nice people and well-priced drinks. I have never had a bad night here!
